GLASSY MOMENTS ORIGINAL DESIGN

GLASS
With much morale boosting and enthusiastic support from fellow
glass enthusiasts
in Lethbridge, I was encouraged to begin sharing some of my designs in
the
form of pattern books. A close friend, Jeannette, did much
of
the “legwork” and together we sent dozens of inquiries to as many
different
resources that we could find. After much information finding, dead ends
and false
starts,
I decided to publish my own books utilizing my advertising art
background
to produce the camera ready artwork necessary for the printing
process.
I then found a very user-friendly printing company, and completed my
first
pattern book in 1994. With the business "smarts" and "everything
else"
of CKE Publications, I have been able to distribute my designs beyond
the
borders of my little town. So a big thank you to my friends south of
the
border. I have many people to thank for what I have been able to
accomplish.
I am currently
(which is turning out to be
'forever') working on book 7, which
will be on a
Christmas
theme. It will be available online in book form or as individual
patterns. All previous books will eventually be available online as
well. Each book will come with full color examples of each
pattern completed, the line drawing of each pattern, and any written
instructions necessary to complete each pattern. Each individual
